Today, I am Writing about the Jose Adolfo Quisocala’. He is a Founder of the Bartselana Student Bank in Peru. He is a fourteen-year-old boy and his idea to open a bank is very remarkable point in this small age. When his classmates and friends are always busy I studies, playing games and other child activities then he think in the age of seven to open a bank for children.

The idea behind his plan came to him, when he was studying in state school of Arequiba. Then he was seen that many of the children skipping their lunch and spent a small amount of money on sweets and candies or another junk items. After that, he saw the children who cannot study more in primary school because of they do not able to afford the study. By seeing many of children living in poverty, and many of them working on streets and begging. These scary things get motivated to him about the statement he need to do something for these children. Therefore, he make the idea to open a Bartselana student bank, now he has more than 2000 clients between the ages of 10 to 18. His bank is also providing micro insurance and other financial services to the customers.

The Jose Adolfo Quisocala win two awards one of is the UNICEF’s child and second for the Finance International Award in 2014 and Children Climate Prize in 2018. The reason behind the awards is that the Jose has combined financial and environmental services together. He used the specific idea for children to become a part of the bank if they collect recyclable plastic and paper waste. After that, they can also earn money by collecting this material. He has also successful to make deals with local recycling companies to pay some higher amount of the money than normal to his clients, when they come with the recycle waste material.
His efforts have not gone unnoticed by Peru’s environment ministry, which has made a Principal campaign for the purpose of home recycling law. Then, the country has estimated 18,000 tonnes of solid waste a day and half of which has not disposed in landfills or ends up one streets, beaches and rivers. He scores a double goal by combining recycling and waste management, which is a severe problem in the world. He is not only creating a financial incentive for children, but he is also assisting in the reduction of waste in the region.
Finally, I want to say we need to learn a lesson from Jose Adolfo Quisocala. He says, I am passionate about what I do, and I still advise people to do what they like rather than what others think they should do.
